2015 PAN AM GAMES – JULY 10-26, 2015

Hamilton is about to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity as we welcome the Americas to our city this July to host Pan Am soccer in our brand new stadium. The 16-day special event will focus on men’s and women’s soccer (32 games in total) and will feature preliminary and medal rounds.

The excitement and energy of the Pan Am Games will go beyond the sporting events as Hamilton celebrates its passion for sport throughout the course of the Games. We will infuse the Pan Am spirit into local cultural festivals taking place across Hamilton – branded as “Hamilton Kicks it Up” – throughout the 16 days of the Games.

What should I expect?

The Soccer schedule runs from July 11 to 26. As a marquee sport contested in the brand new CIBC Hamilton Pan Am Soccer Stadium (Tim Hortons Field), soccer is sure to offer intense competition, great spectacle and some avid displays of national pride from Canadians and visitors alike as eight men’s and eight women’s teams go for gold. Soccer (football) is one of the premier events of the Pan Am Games. With 10 of the top 30 men’s nations in the world and three of the top seven women’s nations coming from the America’s, Pan Am soccer offers truly world-class skills and competition. The Games provide a rare opportunity to see the next generation of world football stars up close.

The majority of the matches are in the evening between 5:30 and 8:30 pm. The schedule can also be found at: http://www.toronto2015.org/0/football-soccer-schedule
