Attention residents and motorists: We have received an update from Sercon Construction regarding the ongoing Glover Road closure. Due to unforeseen challenges, including the discovery of a karst within the roadway, the closure will be extended until Saturday, August 10, 2024 (Rymal Road to Twenty Road.)
The crew is working diligently to minimize the impact on local traffic, and the City of Hamilton has voiced its support of this necessary extension, to ensure the safety and integrity of the road. Updated notices will be circulated to affected neighbors as soon as possible, and all signboards will be properly updated to reflect the new timeline.
During this extended closure, please continue to plan alternate routes as required and follow all posted signage to navigate around the construction zone. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we work to complete these essential infrastructure improvements.
