Tips
When reporting an encampment, please provide as much information as possible, such as the location, date, time, and any other pertinent details.
If you witness someone in distress or experiencing a mental health crisis, call 911 immediately.
Animal Services can be reached at 905-574-3433, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
For garbage, waste, and debris unrelated to an encampment, you can also submit a complaint online at https://www.hamilton.ca/city-council/by-laws-enforcement/register-by-law-complaint.
For open-air burning and potential fire hazards, call 905-546-2489 or email fire.prevention@hamilton.ca. If you believe a fire is spreading or an immediate response is required, call 911.
