As Hamilton remains under a Significant Weather Event declaration, our winter maintenance teams continue working around the clock to ensure roads and sidewalks are cleared as efficiently as possible.
Current Conditions (as of 10:00 PM, Feb. 20)

Main Roads & Escarpment Accesses: Bare/Wet
Secondary Roads: Bare/Wet, Some Partially Snow Covered
Residential Roads: Snow Covered
🔹 Sidewalks & Bus Stops: Snow Covered / Partially Cleared
🔹 Closures: No known closures

✔️ School Zones – Clearing sidewalks, crosswalks, and laybys around 155 schools
✔️ Sidewalk & Overpass Clearing
✔️ Snow Removal Operations – Using blowers and triaxles to haul snow away:
District South: Court clearing & BIA operations overnight
District East: Blower operations, BIA cleanup
